I just got back from the police station just now! My friend (Nikolai's brother) got stabbed by a group of thugs in an elevator at Parkson. We were gonna go to an event when we got the emergency call. We rushed to the station right away.
The cop there then gave us a copy of the CCTV recording of the incident:
It appears that the thugs were trying to rob Nikolai's brother. soon as they got into the elevator, one of the thug took out a knife and asked him to hand his wallet and handphone.
after they chased the thugs outside, they managed to give them one hell of a beating before handing them over to the authorities.
It appears nowadays Kuching is not a safe place anymore. there are so many immoralized assholes (excuse my language but im so ticked off) out there. so i encourage all of you to PLEASE BE REALLY CAREFUL WHEN YOU GO OUT. Never go out alone, bring some friends with you. You never know what'll happen.

Strictly advice to girls outhere, please be careful when going out especially somewhere in Kuching TRIANGLE (Parkson, Tj & SP)! I've been told that there's a PIMP at those area. I recognize their style, they just watching around with his two bodyguards.
Yeah well...cant be too careful these days... I suppose every1 should carry around a pepper spray and know how to use it.. And probably train urself to think fast - use anything and everything as weapons in case of attacks, and make sure to be extra careful in enclosed areas like staircases n elevators.. gee, now I sound paranoid.. but then again, cant be too careful these days... best wishes to ur friend...hope he gets well soon..
yeah since most people now flocks new locations like the Spring or Boulevard kuching triangle seems to be deserted at times. there are less people and more crooks there. might become like Kuching Plaza soo.
