Resident Evil : DEGENERATION

I just finished watching Resident Evil : Degeneration the other day! Personally i was super satisfied with it! XD It is now my no.1 favourite movie!
For those of you who are unfamiliar with Resident Evil, well Resident Evil is originally a popular survival horror videogame series from Japan. It tells the story of a secret corporation called Umbrella Corp. that develops a biological weapon. Whoever is infected with the weapon will...well, turn into a flesh-eating ZOMBIE!





As you already know, there are various Resident Evil movies out there already starring Milla Jovovich. But those movie are crap, i think because it doesnt respect the original storyline of Resident Evil by adding new "fictious" characters and time event. Hey, after all Hollywood is good at destroying other people's franchise, right?

But its different with Degeneration. Everything about this movie is perfect, since it was made by original people who made the game: Capcom. It completely follows the timeline of the original story in the game. And because its CGI animated, it is really successful in capturing the Resident Evil mood and atmosphere. Throughout watching the movie, i also feels like as if im playing the game ^^

The story is also simple and well-narrated and its easy to undertsand. For me, it is a movie worth watching over and over again. it gets better everytime i watch it. i dare say, i enjoy this movie more than FF7 :Advent Children. People unfamiliar of Resident Evil can enjoy this movie too!





I highly recommend this movie! Its only available on DVD though, or...umm the good ol' download ^^;

Riverside Stroll

I went for a walk at Riverside a week ago just to clear my mind andand enjoy a beautiful evening here in Kuching ^^ and I caught some photos along the way. I meant to upload it here earlier, but due to the poor internet connection lately i was unable to do so.

Fortunately, there was an event there that day. I couldnt remember clearly, but i do know its about "Industri Desa". People can see and but lots of crafts and goodies that day ^^

I spotted quite a number of tourist that day...from the one speaking germany to some really odd language. They seem to be having a good time. But i know one thing that sure caught their sour eyes is the critically ( i say ) polluted environment. You can see litter and rubbish everywhere... its as if our people has no regard for the cleanliness of our city. i cant help but feel ashamed.

So remember next time, please dont simply throw your rubbish away on on the ground! JANGAN BUANG URAS MERATA-RATA! use the provided rubbish bins. Sarawak is now making its way to be one of the attraction for tourists from all over the world. As Sarawak citizen, its our responsibility to keep Sarawak image clean ^^

Character Design

As usual, the hardest part of character design for me is the costume ^^; so lately, i did some research and practice. in the end, i was able to come up with designs of my own. i hope the dress turned out Okay :D

Uh-Oh Let's Get Back To Work...

Long time no art! sorry for the long pause, i have been practicing to draw really hard lately... i need to "super-improve" my drawing before i get to drawing a manga hehe. i wrote the story during holiday...now all that is left are the designing works and the drawing itself. phew... working alone sure is tough >.<

Oh and i would like to take this oppoturnity to wish everyone a very happy new year! ^-^ may all your wishes come true. How was 2008 i wonder? for me...well it couldve been better. there are some meorable moments. i met a lot of new friends! (not to mention there is a jerk as well =_=;) but nearly all of the new people i met are warm friendly one, thank god! i hope our friendship will last forever!XD

what do i hope for 2009? well lets make a list, shall we? hehee i hope... XD
- Get more figurine!
- Get more $$$!!
- I can drive proper... ^^;;
- Good health and prosper until the next year
- A girlfriend (optional hahaha XD)
- Meet more friends
- Become a better person
- Increase ibadah and prayers
- Graduate

emmmmm what else...i think that is all for now ^^;;

Final 2008 Haul?

like most PDA it comes with touchscreen and a wand, and a 3.2 mpxl camera. to use the keyboard, you'll have to push the screen downwards (or upwards?) depending on where it faces you ^^;; a nice recent feature of sony ericsson phones is that the screen rotates automatically following which side you hold the phone. say you hold the phone horizontally, it will automatically fits into widescreen. nice~!



but the feature i like the most is the high speed internet. you can even watch live TV from all over the world ^^;; on the picture below, im watching animax on the go haha.





the only downside i could find so far is the keyboard...the keys seems to be really small its a bit hard to type on. i have to press using the tip of my thumb to avoid pressing other keys accidentally. but the layout itself is good though~!

Some Witch...I Don't Know.

Long time no blog! sorry...lately there has been a problem with me and blogspot. i had a tough time trying to access the site and posting contents and the picture upload tends to fail. im using the 3G modem so im guessing that the heavy rain lately interferes with the signal and thus creating the problem. i was able to elleviate this matter today by reducing the size of the pic and constantly refreshing and clearing internet files =_=;

but enough about that, here is a cute little witch figure ^^ hmm i bought this fig cus i thought i could use it to learn drawing cute characters...i dont know whsich anime or game it belongs to (if you know please enlighten me..) but in the end, it didnt help at all ^^;;

the head is kinda heavy...so i had to rely on the display base to stand it up properly. there is a great amount of detail though, especially the book shes holding. the printings on the book is very small yet you can still read it. i like the floating effects on the book too.
